He won some, he lost some, but in all of the following battles he made a great showing.

Wonder Man vs. Infinity War Dopplegangers
This is nearly the entire issue of Wonder Man #15. In it, he fights Dopplegangers of an army of heroes, and with his unstable power makes short work of them. He also accidentally fights three real heroes, mistaking them for Dopplegangers. Then he has to fight his own Doppleganger while also fighting his inner demons. Of note is that the Dopplegangers are created to be more powerful than the originals they are based on.

Wonder Man vs. Thor
As part of the Avengers East Coast vs. West Coast tournament, Simon and Thor were chosed as the teams' heavy hitters and had to battle. Simon more than holds his own against Thor in the hand-to-hand combat, and forces the Thunder God to pull out all the stops with Mjolnir to earn his win. The fight earns Simon the respect of Thor as "a warrior true", which needless to say is a huge compliment coming from Thor. |

Wonder Man vs. The Hulk
In this, Wonder Man's greatest battle against the Hulk, the two confuse each other for the unknown superpowered terrorist they were both searching for. Simon was desperate to prove to the world that he was a hero and no longer savage, and he used a combination of his newly amped powers as well as skill taught by Captain America to hold the upper hand for most of this unconcluded battle. |
Wonder Man vs. The Vision
This is the first battle between Simon and his "brother" Vision, and the biggest. This is the first of several times we see Vision's phased hand trick fail to work on Simon. |

Wonder Man vs. Attuma & Namor
The two were not working together, but Simon had to battle them both one after the other. His powers were still returning after his resurrection, and he was rusty, so he was not at his full power when this took place. |
Wonder Man vs. Hercules
This one isn't really a fight, but Hercules bestows "the gift" upon Wonder Man, which makes Simon a bit agitated. Wondy proves too quick for Hercules to hit again and then...well, you'll see. |

Wonder Man vs. Avengers Island
Ok, so it's not a battle. But damn if this isn't pretty cool. Thsi was the first time we learned that Wonder Man's own energy powered hsi jet belts, as well. Perhaps a hint of the future revelation that he could use his energy to fly on his own power. However, it still appears that needing the rockets hindered him in this instance. Note that there's even a mountain on the island. |
